Bring Your Class for an Educational Fall Field Trip
At Cherry Crest Adventure Farm
This fall we will be offering 3 different educational programs.
Come for our Hands On Harvest
package and learn all about
the life cycle of a pumpkin. |
HANDS ON HARVEST PACKAGE (GRADES 1st – 8th ) $8.00
Join us on Tuesdays & Wednesdays for our Hands On Harvest program. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch, pick a pumpkin and participate in our pumpkin lab. Visit interactive educational stations in our courtyard. Practice butter making, take a guided tour of our Farm Animal Center, enter our corn classroom to learn about the many uses for corn, and visit our bee observation center to learn about the important role that bees play on a farm.
The Barnyard will have many fun activities available. Explore Maze Too (our 2 acre corn maze), the Straw Bale Racer Slide, jumping pillow (with a food pyramid theme), challenging obstacle course, logic mazes and Singing Chicken Show. Our Barnyard Café will be available with a limited lunch menu.
Some educational stations may be targeted towards specific grade levels. Groups can decide which of the educational stations they'd like to participate in.
Our 5 acre Amazing Maize Maze ® will not be open.

FARM FUN PACKAGE (GRADES 4th to 12th ) $9.00
On Thursdays & selected Fridays, the Amazing Maize Maze®, our 5 acre corn maze will be open for School Tours. A Thursday visit to our farm, includes exploring our 5 acre Amazing Maize Maze®.
Groups will also have the option of an educational Farm Tour Wagon Ride. At the Farm Animal Center and Farm Education Center, students can learn interesting facts about farming & farm animals. The jumping pillow, Giant Slinger, Straw Bale Racer Slide, and tunnel slide will be open. The General Store, Home Cookin Café & The Schoolhouse Sweet Shop will be open if groups would like to purchase food or souvenirs.
Before departing each student can have a free pumpkin.

ducks, pigs, llamas, goats & more. |
LITTLE FARMERS PACKAGE (Preschool~Early Elem; no maze) $7.00
Visit our farm on Fridays for our PreK & Kindergarten day. Explore Cherry Crest Adventure Farm at your own pace. Sit in on a Singing Chicken Show. Visit the Farm Animal Center to see goats, sheep, pigs, ducks and more! In the Farm Ed Center, your students can hold a real baby chick (baby chicks are available only on Fridays.) Enjoy our educational Farm Tour Wagon Ride. Take on the challenge of our mini corn maze, Maze Too.
Before departing each student gets a free pumpkin.
Fun Extras included with all programs:
- All students will receive a coupon to return to Cherry Crest Adventure Farm for FREE with a paying adult (during regular hours).
- Each classroom teacher will receive a complimentary Cherry Crest tote bag as a thank you for joining us for the day.
- Groups may bring 1 FREE chaperone (chaperone can be a teacher or parent) for every 5 paying students. Additional chaperones can come at the student rate.
