Come on over to Cherry Crest Adventure Farm for our Annual Potato Festival on Saturday, September 25, 2010. You'd never guess potatoes could be this fun. From flavorful samples to crazy contests, adults and children will be delighted with the food and fun prepared for this event. Each of our guests will receive one free baked potato as a special thank you for attending our Annual Potato Festival!

Potato eating contests, potato sack races, potato crafts, and tons of potato foods are on the menu for the day. Competitions starting at 11:00 am. Competitions, free baked potato & kids' potato craft included with admission.
Special Events:
- Potato Sack Races* - Step into a potato sack & put on your game face. The first person across the finish line wins a prize (all racers get a participation award).
- Potato Scramble* - This is a fun time for kids 2 to 11. Meet up at the Lil' Farmer's Playland to find your potatoes. Similar to an Easter Egg Hunt, potatoes will be hidden throughout the play area. Each potato will be marked and can be exchanged for prizes at the end of the hunt.
 - Potato Eating Contest - Put on a bib and get your fork ready for this fun contest. The first person to gobble up his or her potato wins.
- Potato Slinger - Take turns using our giant sling shots to shoot potatoes at targets on our hillside. Hit the target & get a prize. Fun for all ages!
 - Potato Crafts - Make your own Mr. or Mrs. Potato Head Take it home as a souvenir.
- Magic Show - Be sure to catch Al Grout's hilariously entertaining magic and juggling act. His attention grabbing show provides fun for all ages. He will be performing at noon the potato festival tent in the Barnyard.
- Eastland Alpacas - These special guests are visiting us from a nearby farm with their adorable alpacas.
 Check out their beautiful selection of alpaca wool products and get up close and personal with alpaca.
- Face Painting & Pony Rides - For an additional fee your children can enjoy these favorite festival activities.
- Fall Harvest Round Up - Along with our special Potato Festival activities, we will be having pick-your-own pumpkins & ears of popcorn, scarecrow making & pumpkin painting at an additional charge. Go to Harvest Fest page to learn more about our special fall activities.

Special Foods
- French Fries - Order them plain or with cheese.
- Potato Soup - Creamy & delicious, a perfect fall meal.
- Potato Chips - Potato Chips make a tasty snack to be eaten here or taken home.
 - Baked Potatoes - Add some chili, cheese, butter or sour cream to our regular potatoes.
- Baked Sweet Potatoes - Sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on our baked sweet potatoes for a taste you'll be crazy about.
