• You must provide your own tablecloths, paper products, serving utensils, etc.
• Grilling of any kind is not permitted but there are outlets and counter space for crockpots.
• Moderate decorating is permitted.

Admission Policy:

Admission is required for all guests ages 3 and older.

If a party package is purchased, additional discounted party package admissions can be purchased by party host OR party attendees for any number of tickets.

If a rental only is purchased, a group discount ($2.00 off per person) is available for online, pre-purchased tickets (20+ admissions).

Discounts are not offered at Admissions.

Pre-purchased tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason and expire at the end of the season. CCAF STRONGLY encourages you and your guests to wait until the day of the event to purchase online tickets. CCAF NEVER RUNS OUT OF TICKETS.

Reservations are made online only.

Payment for the barn rental or birthday party package is due in full when making your reservation.

If available, barns can be rented upon arrival the day of your visit to Cherry Crest Adventure Farm.

Rentals are on a first come, first served basis.

Cancellation Policy:
-
Barn rental and birthday party package cancellation up to 30 days prior to visit – Cherry Crest Adventure Farm will refund the amount paid for the reservation.

Barn rental and birthday party package cancellation within 30 days of visit – No refund will be issued.

Cancellation for birthday cake orders is needed 24 hours in advance of a scheduled party or party will be charged for the cake.

Inclement Weather Policy:

If Cherry Crest Adventure Farm closes due to inclement weather the barn rental and birthday party package fee will be refunded.

Additional pre-purchased admission tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. We encourage you and your guest to wait until the day of your event to purchase your online admission tickets. We never run out of admission tickets.

Due to unpredictable weather patterns, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm may wait until the afternoon to make a decision on the availability of evening events.

Working in retailing requires good customer service skills, an interest in selling, a friendly, outgoing personality, and the ability to run a register and count money. Jobs in retailing would include our General Store, Trading Post, Sweet Shop and Admission Booth.

Custodial

Our custodian jobs include responsibilities such as wiping down tables, checking trash cans, watering flowers, picking up litter and cleaning restrooms. Custodians, especially the ones that work in the maze, are frequently asked questions by customers. Custodians need to be familiar with the farm and its attractions and be friendly towards customers. They also need to be organized, systematic, and pay attention to details. Please note: this job requires long periods of walking and being on your feet.

Attraction Attendant

Attraction attendants work in areas like our giant slinger, pedal karts, hay chute slide and jump pillow. Attraction attendants need to be good at working with small groups of people, providing them with instructions, and keeping an eye out for safety.

Entertainment

Our actors work primarily at the Pig Races, though other smaller shows may occur on our Discovery Barn Stage (specific to any given year). Actors must be willing to attend extra rehearsals, memorize lines and blocking, and present an engaging show to the audience.

Food Service

Our food service areas require a range of abilities. For example, the Lemonade stand does not require abilities in cooking. Making the lemonade is a simple but specific process. The Home Cookin Café, on the other hand, requires the ability to make wraps, burgers and fries. For this job category we look for friendly employees, who are able to pay attention to the details of how something is made. They may be required to count money and run a register.

Public Speaking

Our public speaking jobs include maze entrance guides, Farm Ed Center attendants, and our Farm Host. These jobs require an ability to speak in front of groups of 20 or more people. Individuals in these positions need to be able to project their voices, be outgoing, enthusiastic and love working with people. They also need to be able to memorize a short presentation and/or facts about the farm.

Maze Attendant

Our maze attendants work primarily in the maze, often walking throughout the maze and interacting with guests as they search for the exit. Maze employees should be outgoing and able to initiate conversations with guests, self-motivated, able to stay on task, and detail-oriented. This job requires learning the maze and mailbox locations in order to give directions to guests, and involves custodial work. Please note: this job requires long periods of walking and being on your feet, and working in a 30-foot tower. Maze attendants will be required to count money and run a register.

In the fall we will be looking for individuals who are willing to work part time in our School Tour program. These individuals need to love children, be willing to teach short lessons and learn facts about farming. This is a great job for moms, retired teachers, bus drivers, etc.
