Have you ever wondered how your ancestors might have made butter? They used a butter churn of course, and made it all by hand. Come join our daily butter making demonstrations and learn about the butter-making process—then try it for yourself!

Country Pig Races
Daily shows during summer and fall season hours.
Don’t miss our famous Country Pig Races while you’re visiting the farm! Join Tucker, Nancy Lou, and Sam for an epic showdown that you won’t want to miss. You might even get the chance to be a Pig Leader—and if your pig wins the race, then you get a prize!

Opening Celebration

Come join us to celebrate July 4th and our 25th year celebration!

Each family will get a free Cherry Crest Adventure Farm souvenir celebrating our 25th Year

We will have a Patriotic Parade through the farm starting at 2pm. Featuring antique tractors, trucks, and CCAF’s parade float.

Parade attendees will get an American flag (while supplies last)


Sunflower Days
Our Sunflower and Zinnia fields will be in peak bloom in Early September. Join us at the field for our first Sunflower Days on September 5 and September 12 from 12pm-6pm (farm open 10am-7pm). Come enjoy live music from West and West father-son good vibes cover band, local vendors, wine from a local winery, mini family photo sessions and much, much more.

25th Birthday Party
Celebration

Come celebrate our 25th season with a birthday bash. Special entertainment in the afternoon by Jungle John. The day will end with a bang! Fireworks show starting around 8:30pm. More details for come

We are pleased to have Harvest Ridge Winery back to the farm on select Saturdays this fall . They will be selling their local wine and cider by the glass to enjoy at the farm or bottle to take home.


Britain Hill Vineyard

We are happy to welcome Britain Hill Vineyard to the farm on select Saturdays this fall. This new Lancaster County vineyard is quickly becoming a local favorite. They will be selling wine by the glass to enjoy at the farm or bottle to take home.


Trick Roper

We are excited to welcome local breweries including Raney Cellars and Our Town to the farm. Each Saturday this fall a local brewery will be serving their craft beers from 12-8pm (or until sold out).

Come face to face with a variety of reptiles with Jungle John’s Reptile Show! Get up close and personal with “Wally Gator,” “Larry Boa,” or one of over a dozen other reptiles and amphibians, and learn a lot of interesting facts in the process!

Father-son good vibes cover band
Crowds take a special delight in seeing 13 year-old Isaac West nailing it on the drums, but he wows them even more with what he can do on the piano! With Isaac’s dad, Christopher, on acoustic guitar and vocals (and at the drums when Isaac plays keys), this good vibes family duo will have you on your feet dancing and singing along to your favorite songs from the 60s, through today.

We are excited to host Ray Owen, National Recording Artist, Award-Winning Singer/Songwriter and Entertainer this fall! He will be presenting his “Farm Heritage Show,” a tuneful tribute to the American Farmer celebrating farm life, the good earth and old fashioned country living—a true harvest of the heart, embracing a bountiful blend of songs, stories and family fun. And don’t miss the zany “Chicken Karaoke” contest for kids—a wacky farm animal impersonation competition!

Pumpkin Madness Festival

How many ways can you destroy a pumpkin?? We’re on a quest to find out! Bring your leftover Halloween pumpkins or use some of ours to smash, throw, bowl, drop and carve to your hearts content! Our 10th annual Pumpkin Madness Festival will include fun activities like the Pumpkin Smash, Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Putt-Putt, Pumpkin Chucking, and a HUGE pumpkin drop right at 5 o’clock! The excitement continues after dark with a glow in the dark pumpkin drop at 7pm and Fireworks at 8:30pm
